Zeno's Portrait

Dear friend, who first didst show to me
My Zeno's smiling face,
More gracious than the graces three,
Herself the world of grace,
Of all the gifts you could bestow
This one the rest surpassed.
To thee a debt of thanks I owe
So long as life shall last.
