Ye vales and woods! fair scenes of happier hours |

Loose to the wind her golden tresses streamed |
|
|
How oft have I, my dear and cruel foe |
|
|
Then heavenly branches did I see arise |
|
|
Within this wood, out of a rocke did rise |
|
|
I saw a phoenix in the wood alone |
|
|
At last, so faire a ladie did I spie |
|
|
When I behold this tickle trustles state |
