Of Cora, once so dearly ours,
Would mournful memory sing;
Of how she came when came the flowers,
To leave us with the spring.

Considering the Snail

Conscience

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.

To adorn oneself with one’s own rag

Compassion

I

A beggar in the street I saw,
Who held a hand like withered claw,

Coming Home
