Cherie Butler has been an avid writer since grade school. She has always loved the freedom of expression that comes with writing poetry, story-telling, and just the idea of putting unique ideas on paper. Her writing achievements include: Top 10 finalist of the 2019 Wingless Dreamer Poetry Contest, featured in “The Athena Review: Breakthrough Issue”. Her hope is that her writing will inspire others to pen their thoughts and emotions in like manner. She is native resident of Washington D.C., and currently lives in the D.C. Metro area. She is self employed as a Professional Organizer, and just as decluttering and organizing helps reshape other people’s lives, writing helps her “declutter and organize” her thoughts.
