Bush Flowers

Wild flowers!
Wonder flowers!
With never a name
To break your mystic spell
Of haunting incense and far-glimmering flame
In the cathedral quietude
Of mountain gully and secret stream.
Thither my spirit came,
Weary of sins that seem,
And, casting off her shame
Once more renewed
Her beauty, bathing in the crystal dream.
