A Chance Meeting

I saw her in the lot
facing a man twice her size
Defiantly she shouted
her palm cracking his bearded cheek
sending him away ashamed

She saw me standing there
spellbound for a moment
She caught my gaze
I was unable to look away

She slowly came to me
introducing herself
in a soft, sensual voice
asking that we go for a stroll

Casually we strolled down the street
After some time she took my hand
and stole my heart
though I would had given it

When she took me home
she walked me to the door
For a long moment
my eyes met hers
and I was held captive
I knew I never wanted to be released

As she lowered her lips to mine
I was lost, never to be found
