Claudius Gilbert

[Tis Braul I Cudgel,] Ranters, Quakers Braul,
Divels, and Jesuites, Founders of them all.
Their Brauling Questions whosoever reades
May soone perceive, These are their proper heades.
What Better Cudgels, then Gods holy word,
(For Brauls so cursed,) and the Civil sword?
By God Ordained to suppresse such evils,
Which God Abhorreth, as he doth the Devils.
Oh! Lett these blessed Cudgels knocke them downe.
Lett Sathan fall, that Christ may weare the Crowne.
Let Baal pleade for Baal; who are Christs,
Abhorr, oppose, Confound these Antichrists.
Yea Lett the Lord confound them, who with spight
Against his Truth maliciously Fight.
