Her New Name

In robes of light and shining crown,
The King of Calvary,
Is coming down, is coming down,
His hands and feet are free.

And she who to her Saviour clung,
Through bloody sweat and pain,
Now stands near with coil unswung,
To wipe His feet again.

For His dear sake, who loved Him well
On life's sin-troubled track,
She bears again the pains of Hell,
In War's weird battle wrack.

And He has come to pioneer,
Brave woman in the van,
Who stands to-day the loved compeer,
Of her brave brother man.

He's coming down, He's coming down,
In Kingly majesty,
And her new name and radiant crown,
Will shine o'er land and sea.
