IMAGINARIUM
Does it take something real to become inspired
Or only the tangible that can trigger the senses
Can a mere fictional creation ever pay the price
Or can just pure imagination and fantasy suffice
Whether calling on past present or future tenses
But it all starts only when the gun has been fired
There’s nature’s beauty and provocative scenes
Actual emotions and feelings from deep within
But what if it’s a mental picture one has painted
The stuff of dreams with which one is acquainted
Then that creative expression can sometimes win
And is equally valid, despite which way one leans
