To the Right Honourable Henry, Lord Matravers

Heroick Sir, whose vertues Heroize,
Enriching you with honours dignities;
Ny needs a ward must be, when your desert,
Registred you an Hero , whose high heart
Your great immortall honour doth preserve,
Enabling you most Hero -like to serve.

Heartily still in vertues way proceed,
Oh then a Nyward we shall never need;
With your rare vertues there is such a guard,
As hardly can there be a better ward:
Rightly which viewing, each one loud will cry.
Doubtlesse he Hero , we award have uy .
