Way-Song

Give me your clearest hour
And let me go;
Days are too garrulous,
Years are too slow.

Set me a Brownie's feast,
Cake-crumbs and wine,
Outside the tavern-door —
Thus I'd dine.

The stars are so far apart,
My steps so small,
I must make haste who would
Set foot in all.
