Author
Matthew left his place of toil
And Christ as Lord confessed,
Zacchaeus left his wayside tree
And entertained his guest;
And Mary left her household tasks
To hear her Master's voice,
While fishers' left their boats and nets,
And followed Christ from choice;
A woman left her water-pots
To spread good news abroad;
Then gladly will I leave my all
To follow Christ my Lord.
