541st Weekly Poetry Contest winner: Outlaw

by JP Davies

Reprinted features
look down from posters
on souvenir stalls.
Even your name relinquished.
No way of knowing

defiant or cowering
behind bullet-pocked
ghost town walls.
Whether your children wake
and cannot shake the feeling
they are forever on the run.
