I rushed frantically through the door on sudden impulse,

with the sunlight within taunting sunlight without a dual spur,

feeding  forceful inner cry with supreme  yen today especially though,

but of the zestful  type  which is so compelling  on occasions, 

a momentum that will not be rejected somewhat  possesses me,

in seconds savoured for a logbook of that experience yet to occur.

what to relish, what to ignore  isn’t a trivial  matter,

I have this quaint established shop  to visit as deferred objective,

one of several goals on a futile cluttered calendar, 

why not spend extra  time doing something  novel and unique,

not just idle browsing but to purchase vital products,

a nutritious breakfast as impetus to hasten that decision overdue,

there is this massive major urge I cannot  curb this moment,

is it I the stubborn person  who must train themselves,

as if I were an athlete on a practice run for contests,

at the utmost speed attainable  at such events,

the magic of the  opportune moment is driving me,

mindful of fellow citizens whom I might   cordially greet, 

when a sprightly early start for this  diversion presents itself,

the weather has an inspiring focus  for this special treat,

familiar faces wished me fabulous  fair fortune as I dashed,

on that journey between my home and this shop  of enormous interest,

the distance didn’t somehow daunt me at this point as anticipated,

when the human spirit is as  downright firmly motivated  as mine can be,

immense tasks can be fulfilled at the most unthinkable speed,

achievement  and it’s attainment are an ample  just reward,

but at last I reached this charming green foodstuff shop with such relief,

those vegetables, fruit juices, cereals,  so vital among  the features including genial staff members,

they were elated at the  presence of a total stranger in their premises,

we engaged so pleasantly with each other for a beneficial endless period,

I noticed that the morning was oddly sluggish for this  business,

perhaps  my custom was a stimulus of sorts for other clientele,

If that was due to that effort and outlay because I happened, 

to be supporting smaller shopping units,

then a hearty ripple and a broad smile would be most apt,

the freshness of the produce on display was always an additional factor for me,

staff who were prompt, efficient and enterprising,

spotless clean floors enhanced this place as bonus,

without a fragment  of hesitation I filled my  bags with such utter glee,

I queried to myself this awkward  question why I had  postponed,

a form of purchase which partially based on instant  human health,

partially based on a planet rescue motif

took such eternities to complete.

Why not honour a commitment without delay on any gesture of significance  is my best counsel!
