Carmen 83: On Quintia and Lesbia

Quintia is handsome, people cry——
I own she's fair, she's tall, she's strait;
But that she's handsome I deny;
She wants a certain something yet.

In her whole form no graces play,
No spark of animation warms:
But Lesbia, handsome ev'ry way,
Robs all her sex of all their charms.
