Classic Poem

Our soldier boys are far from home
Obeying their Country's call;
And we must offer fervent prayers
That God will protect them all.

And we can give them courage, too
By writing words of cheer,
That they may know our faith in them
Is lasting and sincere.

And while they strive so loyally
Our freedom to defend,
May we every pray for their safe return,
When War and strife shall end.
