I'll Go and See

Do I hear a flood that flows?
Or a rainy wind that blows?
What may now the weather be?
Is it wet that drips from eaves,
Or the sound of windblown leaves
O'er the ground? I'll go and see.

No. No water flows in floods.
Wind is fresh but brings no scuds,
And the sky is not unclear.
There's no dripping from the eaves,
But some shaken holly leaves
Flip the glass.

'Tis I.
