We stare into,
each other’s eyes,
our amber-shaded eyes,
the ones with those,
garden iris yearnings,
and revel in those recalls,
we sculpted one by one.
Crescent moonlit walks on,
sweeping mountain peaks,
orange red clouds that,
fluttered o'er early morning hearts,
ice pink salmon picnics,
in beige chalk downlands,
days we danced on,
layered silver strands,
blossom feathered doves,
who wrote the music,
to our blissful union,
golden wedding peaks,
about to acme,
as we float upon,
the satin sheets,
and pass into,
that timeless twilight,
this amaranthine world beyond
