Defective judgment
might be mine alone
but one can sense it
even from a faraway
at dim and distant
eye straining spot
the indices of drive
charm, signs, points
as I ponder, I wonder
why this bright clan
has this grip on me
despite that plague
of shrewd doubt that
high risk coin toss
one  can  rue on
foot of rash wager
yet those clues and
hidden cues inform
me, despite a deep
down reticence
the bouncy bunch
whose stuff I weigh
have this something
I have yet to find 
that apt phrase for
