THE EDGE

Looking over the edge
It is nothing, just a void
All reality is behind me
Now that I have arrived
Here, no further to go
Except way down there
Into unknown oblivion
Memories will not exist
History all wiped away
And I will be forgotten
As there’ll be none left
Who can ever remember
