The waves crashed against the tan and sandy land.

The leaves swirled up in the breeze of the wind.

The stars shown bright in the dark night sky…

All of these memories are of you and I.

The sun was rising, it was the crack of dawn,

And the clear dew was all over the grassy lawn.

The sky was dimly light with purples and blues,

Oh, I remember the times of me and you.

The back of a truck, looking up at the night.

And the moon so bright, it lit up the sky.

The way your hand felt enclosed around mine,

The warmth of your body radiating on mine.

I’ll never forget all the things we did.

For these memories will last forever.
