SEASCAPE
My love, my dream! Come with me,
We will blanket the lea, beyond the sea,
Build a palace among the stars
Far from earthly strife and wars,
Look at the rainbows, the white rivers,
Slaty mountains, red roses, brown sparrows,
Bright glow worms, golden eagles, black bees,
Yellow sunflowers, scarlet macaw, green trees.
Showers drench the morning, nights glow with dew,
Posy noon to dose, then evening linnets in view;
Winter with warm sun, moonlit cool nights,
I admire thy grace; thy touch razes my frights.
When your raven-blown hair radiates—shades,
I repose in your lap, night comes, day fades.
Your wondrous, hazel eyes keep me at ease,
We will love till there are stars, skies, seas.
