Helter-skelter
They run
In shreds of garment
They hide and take cover 
To avoid being casualties
To the elements of warfare

Philosopher said
That in war the sun cries
I hope she has cried enough
For soon the tears should end this world
Drown all life
And stop this madness

Wartorn
Where did we miss it
Children did no wrong
But number of children killed and destabilized determines victors in wars Your first casualty is logic

Wartorn
The sun has cried almost all its tears Can't you see?
There's no victor in any war Humanity is depleted

Wartorn
Look at you o man
You've become cannibal

Wartorn you are o earth
Wartorn to shreds

Wartorn is when we bite the hand that feeds us and forget the things that holds us together are stronger than the other side

Enough now
Soon there'd be no earth to tear
You've invented weapons and machinery to destroy earth six times over

Wartorn is what we do
To tear the earth to shreds
Go to, there's no certificate for the most bloodthirsty warlord
Your glory is your confusion

For you make the earth wartorn
There she is, lying all forlorn
