Guru, fallen at thy feet give me vision of the Name |
Great is the shield of Rama's name |
To Thee for refuge am I come, O Rama |
This world is as a dream: hear and believe my word |
From all eternity is my religion, and this world knows naught of it |
O Lord, bring me to shore in safety |
O Master, blot out my mistake |
O Lord, of my demerits take no heed |
Mad with longing for Thy vision |
To praise Thy name can none aspire |
