                                 “Debtor’s Prison”
 
                        The heart is a debtor’s prison               
                        Once in, there is no way out.
                        The mind is a callous banker
                        Keeping chits that don’t exist.
 
                        Excuses are not reasons -
                        They just take up the same space,
                        “If onlys” have no room,
                        They only waste precious thoughts.
                        So, don’t bother keeping track,
                        Or trying to make lists –
                        It won’t get any better.
                        It just gets different.
