A Father's Love

They say that a Father's Love can withstand the test of time I can totally believe that just look at yours and mine.
You always would remind me as I was growing up to never give up on projects until I gave them a second look.
Remember when you told me it's simple Weezer just take a look, I watched you in absolute amazement as you taught me to read my very first book.
I watched you fight your demons to which u conquered every time and even after your battles you helped me conquer mine.
That night in shining armor in every nursery rhyme you know the one who slayed the dragon that's how I see you, you saved me every time.
I heard you all those late nights when you would ask God if you failed but as the perfect father with pure love and devotion you did prevail.
In your words and in your lessons were great wisdom I'd soon adhere even all those times you thought I didn't, I did I really cared.
I just want to let you know you were the greatest father, especially those times I should've been a better daughter, I couldn't imagine life without you it is now that I see, that in this world without you would definitely be no me.
