Moon three quarters full
Late Spring
Very foggy
Gently luminous fog
My breath vapour-embodying
More than when the year is new
Misty Moonlight
Veiled and laurelled
The only illumination is from it and
Soft-keen-eyed fire lanterns
Celestial and terrestrial
Moon and Man’s making
All these
With crowns of lambent haze
Similar, mine breath-form joining
If the Moon were full now
I may forget that it is not always full
Misty Moonlight
Misty Moon
Veiled and laurelled and crowned
Moon and fire lanterns are the only light
Tonight, there are no stars
Perhaps they have become the mist
