Your amber eyes in fading light
All bright and awe inspiring
The sunlight in an endless night
I've spent my life desiring

Your voice, the calming wind chime sound
A humming river flowing
It whispers sweet words to my heart
Without me even knowing

The coldest heart your smile could melt
It's left me reminiscing
Flamingo pink, your luscious lips
I'd spend forever kissing

Your straight black hair blows through the wind
Your silky skin is flawless
Your touch, warm as the rising sun
It always brings me solace

I sigh and watch you leaving me
As August's almost over
Along with the migrating birds
There goes my summer lover

Alone I count the waves again
I skip stones like you taught me
Although falling in love was fun
I wish you never caught me
