OUR DIFFERENCES ARE LIKE PIECES OF A PUZZLE CALLED LIFE,
that didnt seem so obvious at first,
but looking back you can expect the worst,
when strained expressions show one’s true feelings,
at a sore point or stray word amid our dealings,
the odds and ends didnt seem to fit,
try as we may there’s just no making sense of it,
I give a little ground and so do you,
but honestly we just can’t seem to bridge,
that awful gap that’s getting in the way,
breakthroughs sometimes work but not for long,
I hate to sing that same old boring song,
what keeps us far apart is like a curse,
our would be fixes only make the problem worse,
It isn’t like a crossword or some jigsaw,
an interactive game to be looked up,
where answers can be found in how to books,
online website or handy guide,
I wonder is it time to say goodbye,
maybe we can give it one more
