I hear the small splatter of rain
The rustling of leaves in the wind
I can forget about my problems
If only for a moment
I can breathe once again,
To my mind the fresh air,
Its as if I had been choking
And now I’ve finally taken a breath
Thank you dear trees
The cold on my face
To the freshly cut grass
And to my darling dog
For this wonderful walk
I can feel at peace
If only for a moment
