Rebecca O’Bern is a writer, educator, and editor. Her work has been published in Connecticut Review, Blue Monday Review, South 85 Journal, Hartskill Review, Storm Cellar, Dissident Voice, Armstrong Delusion, Crack the Spike, and elsewhere. Among her distinctions, she was the 2010 recipient of the Leslie Leeds Poetry Prize, recipient of PoetryNook.com’s 104th Weekly Poetry Prize, and selected as March 2016’s Featured Poet by Connecticut Poetry Society. She is currently an M.F.A. Creative Writing candidate at Southern Connecticut State University where she is Poetry Editor of Noctua Review. Also a freelance editor, she teaches writing and composition in Connecticut. When not writing, she enjoys playing classical piano, kayaking, and camping with her partner, Elias.
