Poetic Translation

Literal Character

Male Bird

Male pheasant in flight, flow flow his feather.
My ’s heart completed, self bequeath he impedes.
Make pheasant in flight, down above his sound.
Open [action] prince child, true labor my heart.
Look that sun moon, far far I ponder.
Path ’s clouds distant, where clouds can come?
Hundred you prince child, not know virtue walk?
Not aggressive not seek, why do no good?

Literal Word

Male Pheasant

Male bird ah! flies, disperse disperse your wings.
I harbor in my mind, self gives his obstruction.
Male bird ah! flies, above below his sound.
Spread out nobleman, honest labor my heart.

Gaze that sun and moon, lasting for ages I feel.
The path of the clouds is far, when can the clouds return?
Hundred thus noblemen, not know morality and conduct?
Not aggressive not seek, why do no good?
