La Luna

by Arisa

Controls the tides, pushing and pulling as she waxes and wanes.

Oh, creature of water,

I see how you suffer. Tossing in tides and beached on the shore as the salty sea abandons thee. Spread thinon the sand, no container at hand, to scoop your heart into, one fistful at a time.

Oh, creature of water,

May La Luna take pity. Silver moonbeams, so pretty, will light the way to her ancient city. There, may you rest, and gather your heart, one drop at a time.
